don't buy milk from the clown
"Do you remember waking me up last night and taking me to the back yard? I didn't make that up, right?"-K
"Uh yah! And yes, there WERE men talking back there, I heard them, and the light in the shed was on and the door was open."
"ok...."
My piano teacher had one of those creepy stickers in her front window with the eyes and the cape saying "we're watching" for some neighborhood watch. That sign still gives me chills, almost as much as Mrs. R eating the pencil lead during my lesson.
I don't really have run-ins with the law so much. There was one time I should've totally been busted, but some how we got out of it. I can't even say what it was for fear of, well, some people finding out that weren't there..hah. Lesser offenses seemed to occur for the purpose of decorating our 4 person shared bathroom freshman year. One time J got so pissed that the UMHB popo put a cone to save a parking spot that it somehow became a fixture in our bathroom, as did some stolen milk sign from the McDonalds' drive through. Every time I went in there I wanted milk, and to find a senator willing to propose a clown ban. Clowns freak me out, especially the ones selling milk to me for 99 cents in our bathroom.
I think the things I have gotten most in trouble for were inappropriate shenanigans. Anything involving wearing all black, Eliza being asked if she was a stripper, or a friend calling us at 6 am after the cops had been there (looking for the people 'who done it'...and he rocks the world and didn't give us up..haha) I am usually game for. Not at all in a bad a** way, more in a 'you are such a child, grow up' capacity. Getting caught is also no fun, and happened once. Though our offense was minimal, I will never get the expression Kristi's face had when Eric's spotlight (who carries a huge spotlight in their trunk!?!?) lit up her face (and middle finger) from across the street out of my head. Bc of that specific story, she and my's 'song' is the "Cops" theme song. That's right, effin special. I bet no one hears "bad boys bad boys" and starts laughing from fond memories, except us.
